I work professionally as a machine-free tattoo artist. I love this practice, because it shows the gentler and more natural side of tattooing. The slower pace of the process of handpoking leaves more time for making friends and sharing stories.
My main focus regarding my work is in digging deep down to the ancient roots of art and tattooing and to breathe life back into some of humanity's long lost visual art forms.
I love powerful symbolic imagery and animal totems in: petroglyphic style, Scythian/Pazyryk mummy tattoos and Iban style tattooing from Borneo. I base much of my other inspiration off of flaura, fauna and a wide scope of artistic input from my travels around the world.
